Roquetas and Vícar to Undergo Major A-7 Highway Interchange Renovation

The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has approved a significant renovation project for the A-7 highway interchange connecting Roquetas de Mar and Vícar.
With an estimated budget of €54 million, the project aims to modernize this crucial junction, improving access to densely populated areas like Aguadulce, El Parador, and La Gangosa.

Plans include constructing new collector-distributor roads, additional ramps, three overpasses, and enhancements to existing underpasses.
The project also encompasses comprehensive improvements in signage, drainage, and landscape integration.

This initiative is expected to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance connectivity in the western Almería region.
